Plastic granule making machine needs more promotion
The recycling of waste plastics has been freed from the narrow concept of diligence and thrift. It has been linked to environmental protection, resource recycling and strategic measures for sustainable development of the national economy. It has also become an important new force to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the plastics industry. The huge economic benefits contained therein have caused more concern.
Plastic granule making machine needs more promotion
The use of plastic pellet making machines to recycle and reuse waste plastic products can save energy, protect the environment, and is highly economical and has been widely recognized by the industry. It has become a worldwide issue. Traditional recycling and recycling, due to the unsatisfactory economic benefits and potential threats to product quality, have led to the search for more favorable recycling and utilization methods.
The output of waste plastics continues to rise, but recycling is lagging behind.
Global plastics production continues to rise, but recycling is lagging behind, a new study shows. According to the Worldwatch Institute, global plastics production reached 300 million tons in 2013, an increase of about 4 percentage points. The plastics industry’s annual sales totaled $600 billion. The post-consumer recycling rate in Europe was about 26% in 2012, and this figure is only 9% in the US.
Asia accounts for 45.6% of global plastics production. North America accounts for about one-fifth and Europe has about 22.9%. The Middle East and Africa accounted for a total of 7.3% and South America 4.8%. The Worldwatch Institute claims to be an independent research organization focusing on environmental issues. The report also predicts that about 4% of the world’s annual oil consumption is used to produce plastics. Another 4% of the energy used is for plastics production.
Although the recycling and utilization of waste plastics are important from the perspective of resource recycling and environmental protection, the rapid development of the plastics industry and the recycling technology sometimes cannot keep pace with this development. On the one hand, the cost of recycling recycled materials is too high for enterprises to bear. On the other hand, new materials emerge in an endless stream. When developing and manufacturing these new materials, they often only consider how to meet functional requirements and ignore the problem of whether they can be recycled after use. Therefore, recycling technology is difficult to keep up with the pace of development of this new material.
Waste plastic recycling is a sustainable road, and the plastic granule making machine industry will also be popular every day. This industry is worth developing.
